Gamespy got the opportunity to check out Forochel first-hand, and have been so kind as to write up a full preview article about it. It doesn’t contain too much new for those that’ve been following this upcoming release, but it is an interesting read regardless.

Here is a small excerpt from the article regarding the Orc Defiler:

” In PvP terms the Defiler is primarily a healer with secondary debuff and damage-over-time skills. Some of the skills we were able to toy around with included “Fell Restoration,” an instant 1925 HP heal, “Fertile Slime,” a 60-second light heal-over-time, “Curse of Sticky Feet,” a slow spell that enhances fire damage and “Curse of the Coward’s Soul,” a three-target AoE stun in the area around the caster.
According to the producers, balancing out the Player-versus-monster-player is an ongoing challenge. While there will always be a rancorous debate between the two sides in any PvP line-up, the lack of a serious healer/CC/debuff class for the Creeps in the Ettenmoors has been a glaring issue the team’s wanted to address for a while. Indeed, it doesn’t take too many sessions in the Ettenmoors before one realizes why Free People Lore masters tend to dominate the field. With the Defiler, the Creeps finally have an answer to the squishy people slinging fireballs and stuns around all willy-nilly, interrupting the Wargs and trolls who really only want to be friends — really! “
