Conquest: November 4th, 2008?

Rumours concerning the possible release date of Conquest continue to circle around the community, but there’s one that’s been showing up too many times to be a coincidence: November 4th, 2008. IGN has the game listed for that date (you have to scroll down to November, but it’s there!). Meanwhile, GameRankings has the game on for a more global “November 2008″ release. Gamestop also has the game listed for the same date (mirrored PDF here):

Could it be true? We’ve contacted Pandemic about it, so we’ll make sure to let you know if it is. At this point, a release in November seems to be fairly reasonable - but treat this as you would any rumor.

Yes! Hopefuly this is true. I saw it at my local Gamestop but couldnt read it clearly. Nice find...I'm going to get a petition going to get a Wii version

Personally I wish it came out later so they have more time to work on it, but then again I want to play i now. :P

I myself can't wait for this game, it'll be out a long time after my 360 has been repaired so I'll be happy to wait until then.

I'd rather have it later so they can include the Wii, Ps2 or PSP and can add corrections

I doubt a PS2/Wii/PSP version will ever be made.

If they can make the game by then without messing anything up then I'm all for it. But then again, this is Pandemic, and with their track record I'm sure they know what they're doing.

Yea but I think they had much more time to make their past games.

It was in development for a while before it was announced. Not every game is announced as early as BfME1 and LotRO. I think BfME2 was also announced but a few months before release.

What does OLC behind Conquest mean BTW? Only a couple games have it. Does it mabey mean "release date may change", but in a different wording.

Also i noticed it is the ship date TO the store, and the store usually gets it the next day. Stores generally have the game on hand for at least a week. That way they can ship out pre-orders so they arrive ON release day. Plus some games have had early releases by stores, sometimes 2-3 weeks in advance. So I am betting the actual release date is November 14 or around there.

As long as they stick to sometime in November im fine with that. I just don't want to get excited about it and have it delayed for a month or more.

I hope it comes out around then. I asked my Mom for it for my birthday which is the 16th. So that would be great timing!
