They're still saying Fall 2008, and since Winter starts on December 21st (before Christmas) it should be out by then. Either way, sounds like Ill have some fun on my PS3 during the holidays...

They will release for Holiday or Spring break that is when EA releases games :) My guess is Holiday 2008.

Yeah, I've seen the Holidays turn up as a suggested "date" as well in some recent previews. I myself don't particularly care when it is released, just so as long as it isn't rushed.

They didn't announce it when they started developing, nobody does. I am not sure how long they were working on it, but you don't show off screenshots and videos one or two months after you start working on a game. I believe Sledge told me about a new LotR game last September so its safe to say its been in development for a while.

I think they are working in to it about 2 or 2 & half years... not sure don't take me seriously.

And that was taken from a few months ago, so it's pretty much been in development for 2 years.
