What consoles will the game be released on?
The game will be available for the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and the Nintendo DS.
What about the PSP
Unfortunately the game will not be made available on this console.
When will it be released?
It’s currently scheduled for international release on the 9th of January, 2009. The North American release is due on the 13th of January, 2009.

What are the minimum specs for the PC version?
Lord of Lord of The Rings: Conquestâ„¢ requires at least the following:
FOR WINDOWS XP SP2 or Windows Vista
* 2.4 GHz Core Duo processor or equivalent
* 1 GB RAM
* A 256 MB Video Card, with support for Pixel Shader 3.0 – nvidia 7800 or equivelent
* The latest version of DirectX 9.0c
* A DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
* At least 6 GB of hard drive space for installation.
Will this game have classes?
Yes! There will be four classes: the Warrior, Scout, Mage and Archer.
Can I upgrade my character?
Players will not be able to enhance or upgrade their character. Instead they will be rewarded by a hero/villain becoming playable.

What about multiplayer?
All the above modes will be available in multiplayer. Only 16 human players are allowed in a game, however.
Only 16 players? Won’t battles be a bit small?
Not exactly. The human players are just a small but important part of battles of up to 150 (AI controlled) men.
Will I be able to play as Aragorn or Gandalf?
Yes! The game will offer a number of very powerful heroes to play as. In certain battles you can pick up a hero to defeat an enemy such as the Balrog – but in others – you have to first earn your marks on the battlefield before you are allowed to get inside on of the heroes!

What about the evil heroes?
You’ll be able to play with signature Evil heroes like Saruman, Sauron and even the Balrog! See our heroes & classes page for more info.
Are there mounts? Can I fly!?
There are a number of in-game ‘vehicles’ you can use. Some of these are siege equipement such as Catapults or Rams, but also think about units such as ents, horses, wargs and the likes! You cannot fly, however. It is possible to call in help from your flying allies – the eagles for the good side an the fellbeast on the evil side.
Is there a Guardian class?
No. There is not a Guardian class. After much speculation, it has been told that no such class shall be made available to be playable in the game. It did exist at one point during development but was then merged with the warrior class.
