With the PS3 getting a controller very similar to the Wii, its only logical to expect some games will be ported between the two consoles. TT Fusion the studio behind the DS version will be developing the PS3, Ps2 and PSP version of Aragorn's Quest. Headstrong Games are still producing the Wii version. It was not stated whether TT Fusion is still working on the DS version anymore.
Except for the above information, very little was released regarding the PS3 version of Aragorn's Quest. It wasn't stated whether it will get a graphical improvement or anything along those lines. Continue reading... |

I'm probably gonna test it out, cant be worse then Conquest. Lets see it as a Zelda-ish clone =).

Its probably going to be a PSN game. Don't see it being a 60$ bluray game

Depends on if they revamp the graphics or not.

I'm not so sure about this game. I know it's directed towards kids, so that needs to be taken into consideration, but it just seems off to me. I'll at least watch some gameplay when it comes out.

I don't see that happening, well, they'll have to do it in HD because that's a requirement even for PSN games.

Well being in "HD" doesn't mean anything. I was referring to better models, textures, animations, etc. To fulfill the requirement of "HD" just means it has to output to likely 720P.

I don't see why they'd have to revamp the graphics.
They're making a game for children, they don't care whether they have 2 or 720 pixels. As long as it has flashy colours and models that look cool. They're not going to change the base of the game (a LOTR game for children) just because they're going to bring it to PS3. If you want the big guys LOTR game, you'll just have to wait for their next announcement, as they said, they're going to make family oriented AND hardcore gamer LOTR games. If you get lucky, this game will turn out like the LEGO games, and they'll be fun for young and old. Just don't complain if they don't make it like that, because it isn't what they're planning to do with this game. |
