The 1.3 patch for The Third Age: Total War has been released. Updates include:

Complete rework of Dale
Beorning units available as mercenaries in Anduin-Vale
New armor upgrade textures for Heavy Silvan Elves units
New Heroes and Textures (Legolas, Haldir, Theoden, Ugluk, Grishnak)

Every time I try to play Third Age it shuts off for no reason. But this looks amazing! I love the redo of Dale. They definitely look a whole lot better.

Looking forward to the next patch which also includes a rework of Eriador. BTW, this patch includes a new BAI as well

I cant get any mods for M2TW to work with my steam version.

... there's plenty of solutions for that I'm sure, just have to make a bit of an effort. I can install mods fine with my ETW steam version.

Should I just reinstall it agin? I have done it before but when i try to start it up it just quits with a window with an "!" in the middle or something.

Have any other mods installed? Kingdoms patched to the latest version?

I have one other mod installed M2TW. I believe I have the most recent patch.. would it have given me an update? I was able to play it perfectly until like a month ago it stopped working.

In that case I'd just reinstall the game, finding out what the issue is probably would take more time

So... uhhh... is anybody here interested in creating a TA:TW clan? Should bring TW gamers here together and set up some online games. It's hard to find people for this specific mod/patched version.
