I really want to try Age of Empire.

I really do liked the fast paced nature of BFME, so I guess I could try Warhammer.

Honestly, BFME's success is based on the fact that it's LOTR. Try playing classic RTS games like Warcraft, Starcraft, Age of Empires. As for games with a faster paced game play, I'd also recommend Warhammer Dawn of War (similar in gameplay to BFME - holding outposts on the map, etc), Supreme Commander (really massive tactics there) or Ground Control (tactics + urban environment).

I really like RTS, after tasting it with the BFME series. I just wish my computer was better for me to play more of that genre.

Consoles are the bane of the best game-genre, that is RTS games I guess that's why I never bought any console. Went for a PC straight after NES.

I didn't really play games much till I was in 1st grade (that's when I got my PS1). I didn't know about RTS games till a lot later.

Not really. I was 2 when that game came out . I prefer medieval RTS anyway. I like Sci Fi games that are shooters... and Star Wars .

You don't need a good pc to play the game I'm speaking of. It was released in 1998
