Battle for Middle Earth II

Battletest patches:
Battletest patches is a series of patches designed and released by the Battle for Middle Earth community itself. It is not made nor supported by EA games. Battletest is an immensely popular patch that is used by many BfME2 competitions, such as the Clanwars.cc competition. If you like balanced, competitive, but above all – FUN – gameplay, we would recommend you to install this patch!

Rise of the Witch-King

Unofficial patches:
With EA’s lack of any given support for a new balance patch, the folks over at Gamereplays have once again made their very own balancing patch. As with the BT2P patch, this patch is used in most competitions, such as clanwars.cc. However, it is not (yet) officially supported by EA. If want a balanced and competitive Rise of the Witch-King experience, this patch is recommended.
