Awsome!! Will play as "Mage"
Arctic Squirrel:
ehh.... still not so happy about the mage
but it looks good. I'm just going to keep to my elf though...
zach:
Well I don't like the mage but its really all context. I will learn to accept it like I did in LotRO cause I love my Runekeeper.
Mithrandir7:
I really hope they axe the mage. If they can't get it to fit right into the game, I know it will be the thing that ruins it for me. :(
zach:
Well they still have time but the classes are pretty generic so I dunno what they would replace it with really. We have a melee/ranged warrior type(dwarf) and the stealthy rouge/assassin type(elf). In general fantasy that pretty much leaves the mage type.
I would prefer a system more like Oblivion where you can be whatever you wanna be(just remove the magic skills and add some different ones).

Yea sadly it doesn't seem we will get that... Maybe we should just make our own game?
ElveHaldir:
To the Gamesmobile!
Where dreamgames are being made <3
Mithrandir7:
I was actually thinking about it because I need some practice with Mac programming. :P
Freek:
There are some fan projects that are pretty lore-accurate. Lord of the Rings, Fourth Age and Third Age Total War are great. And there's MERP which is still far from finished.

Will look forward to Aragorn's Quest and Dance Dance Hobbiton though!

It's a shame that I have no programming talent whatsoever, because I like to think most of us have a pretty good idea of what would make the perfect LOTR game.
