Third Age Total War is still one of the most popular LotR fan projects, and in no small part thanks this success trough the continued development of the mod itself. Version 2 of the mod was announced a short while ago, and now an official preview has been posted. New features include a reworked “Eriador” faction, including the possible emergence of a new “Arnor” faction, a brand new “Fellowship” campaign and updates to the existing campaign, AI, units, and graphics.
