Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE) have released a new trailer for their upcoming game ‘Aragorn’s Quest’. The game will put players in the shoes of Aragorn during the War of the Ring. The choice has been made to aim this game at the casual audience, and kids in particular. Love it or loathe it, here is the trailer:
Aragorn’s Quest will ship to store shelves next year; on the Wii, Nintendo DS, Playstation 2, and Playstation Portable.

EmThor:
Day 1 for PS2 and PSP for me :D
Balin38:
Why did they give him a shield?
I like what they're trying to do but can't they at least pretend to have read the books, or at least pretend to make design choices like they have.
Ayodon:
If you could create your own character, play online, weild different weapons and lots of em, this game might be good.
I dont get why they gave Aragorn a shield tho. :P When he was walking away from the black ship he didnt have one.
Oops, I got this game confused "with war in the north" XD
kylej13:
Looks better than I originally thought, but I'm pretty sure I'll never get it.
Yams In a can:
Silly LOTR game :P!
Ilaras of The Dunedain:
It actually doesn't look all that bad. I mean for a game that isn't aimed at big gamers like most of us here.
ElveHaldir:
The official site is online

Cheeky Hobbit:
It looks better than Conquest to be honest.

That is both sad and good. Sad that Conquest failed so bad, but good because maybe Warner will do good with the license.
Freek:
I don't think this game will be a big hit. Its been marketed as a family game (at least initially) but after seeing some of the videos it looks way too scary and too hard for kids. Dramatic music, a dark setting and lots of violence. A lighter kids game would be better if it were set in the Hobbit or if it was mostly about adventures in the Shire. And hardcore gamers aren't going to get this because of its graphical style and the platforms (maybe PSP/NDS).
As a last comment I'd wish these games would stop following the battles in the movies. Not because they're bad but its been done to death in games like BfME1 and Conquest by now.
Ayodon:
They also, have yet to do these battles to my expectations.
the dark lord 1:
i would say its about the same level as conquest.
i looked at the characters on the site and they look funny. ( not wierd funny but haha funny) why does aragorn have a shield/why doesnt boromir.
MirkwoodArcher:
The co-operative play is a cool feature. It'll make it more fun for those of us who have siblings of friends that we like to play videogames with. :D
