The newest expansion pack to the Lord of the Rings Online, the Siege of Mirkwood is now Live. The Siege of Mirkwood introduces several new features and a new region for players to explore and fight the forces of evil in. One of the largest and most looked forward to features is Skirmishes, which allow up to 12 people to fight in instanced battles in iconic regions throughout Middle Earth. In addition a new mount system is being introduced which takes a step towards mounted combat. The Southern portion of Mirkwood is included in the expansion pack and includes Dol Guldur.

TDM uses a P2P system which is lots faster ;) Anyway, the changes are pretty cool. My main was in the Lone-lands which is MUCH better now. More quests, Agamaur and Harloeg are mostly solo, and theres a few more quest hubs so less travelling! The level 20 horse I dont like as much, but its better than nothing ;)

Yea the regular updater is slower but I update LotRO generally when I am doing homework, studying, etc.
