Beckett Massive Online Gamer is hosting a contest for the launch of Siege of Mirkwood. Up for grabs is a year’s subscription to Massive Online Gamer, a special in-game cloak and a Siege of Mirkwood poster. Five to Ten people will be chosen to win the contest and they will be featured in the next issue of Massive Online Gamer.
Are you a LOTRO player who can’t wait to dive into Mirkwood? Maybe you’re in the beta and can’t wait to tell everyone about all the cool stuff you’re doing? If that’s the case, we want to hear from you!
Massive Online Gamer and Turbine would like to hear from LOTRO fans about what they’re looking forward to in Siege of Mirkwood when it releases Dec. 1. Or, if you can contain your excitement for a little while (or have already experienced the content in the beta), give us your first impressions after the release date. You can tell us about your favorite new feature, the visual look of Mirkwood, what you’re doing with your friends or kinship, or just your overall impressions of the expansion. Talk about skirmishes, the new raids, new legendary items, crafting, or just the spooky woods themselves — it’s up to you!
If you’re interested, send your stories to jwinter@beckett.com with the subject “Mirkwood for MOG.” Entries should be limited to about 200 words in length and should reflect your views on Mirkwood, either pre- or post-release. Include your main character’s name and server. Entries must be received by December 5.
Now for the good part: five to ten entries will be selected to appear in the next issue of Massive Online Gamer! In addition, we still have several Cloak of the Cold Well codes from last year’s Mines of Moria giveaway, which will also go to the entrants lucky enough to be selected for publication in the magazine. We’ll also give you a free year’s subscription to Massive Online Gamer and we’ll send you a cool Siege of Mirkwood poster, courtesy of Turbine!

Not much for prizes. All of the in-game items they give you serve no purpose other than a cosmetic, which always look terrible.

I used to get the magazine not too bad, but it rarely had much LotRO stuff and that's my only MMO.

Lol I dunno if you are joking or not but the MoMcame with a poster and the Collectors MoM came with 2 or three.
