First and foremost, I would like to congratulate RangerStryder on receiving the Honored Member award! This award is given out to those who positively participate in the community and show dedication to improving site. So please join me in congratulating him on the achievement as it is not and will not be an award we give out often.

Regarding forum matters, I would like to point out that the Articles forum has been moved back to the main board page. We are looking to use that forum more and more for guides, opinions, editorials, and all sorts of things relating to Lord of the Rings gaming, movies, and MEC itself.  We hope that you guys will join us in trying to revitalize the articles forum by contributing your own thoughts and writing your own articles. As mentioned in the stickied topic within the Articles forum, if you author an article you will receive the Lore Master award and the best articles will be featured on the main page!

Slightly less important than the last two topics, several changes have taken place over the last couple days to enhance how you use our site. The staff team has changed significantly, with the moderator team removed and the remaining members made Global Moderators. This was done to help keep the forums clean, and also due to the lack of a need for moderators watching over  a specific forum. In addition, the editor position has been removed indefinitely.

On the main page the category images for news posts have been updated with higher resolution images. Meanwhile both the forums and home site now have an updated navigation bar and corresponding submenus to better help you get where you need to go. The images, videos, and download submenus are still being worked on so give us a couple days while we work on them.
