For those looking forward to LotR:O The Siege of Mirkwood, you will have to wait until December 1st to get your hands on it. However until then, Turbine has released a nice collection of images showcasing the new region coming to LotR:O.

Ilaras of The Dunedain:

Wow, Dul Guldor looks amazing. Thanks for the shots :).

zach:

You are welcome. :)

I hope its only the Dol Guldur area that looks like that. Seems abit thin with trees. I loved the way that the Old Forest looked and felt (before they made it easier to navigate!) so I hope that the rest of Mirkwood is abit like that.

zach:

Yea I liked it that you literally got lost in the Old Forest, now its sooo easy to navigate.

Samus1111111:

I like the animated armor best :P

Mithrandir7:

That looks pretty awesome, and its a shame about the Old Forest. I haven't played the game but from what you guys said that seems to be a downer. Due it being a video game it shouldn't be impossible to navigate but then again... it is the old forest.

zach:

It wasn't impossible but it was quite easy to get lost, and sometimes it took a while to find your way out, which is how it should be IMO, but soo many people complained so it was changed. :(

Samus1111111:

that's stinks, I got to it after it was changed, but would have loved to try to find my way through it.....

Freek:

It wasnt all that good in the beta though, even though the area was pretty well designed, everyone was still the same level and the paths were all way too crowded then :P

zach:

That was the beta, which if referring to the Open Beta it was locked at level 15, so the Old Forest was the place to be. :P My hobbit never even left the Shire, got all 15 levels there. :)
