LotroLife has published a informing article regarding Skirmish play, one of the major features being introduced in “Siege of Mirkwood.”
- Skirmish play will allow each player to lead one soldier into battle, so that with the max of twelve players there will be twenty-four friendly units.
- Players will earn experience based upon the level that they chose for the Skirmish.
- Skirmishes are scaled based off the number of people in the Skirmish. Any Skirmish can be played with one, three, six and twelve player(s).
- Skirmishes can be played by players as low as level 30.
- Confirmed Skirmishes: Bree, Weathertop
- Skirmishes have a main objective and nine optional objectives, completeing optional objectives will give you extra Skirmish points.
- Skirmish points as used to customize and advance your soldier.
- World Join is the UI that allows players to select the group size, level and difficulty of a Skirmish and transport them to the Skirmish. Once they complete that Skirmish they are transported back to their original location. Skirmishes are designed to take 30-45 minutes.
- Skirmishes are randomized so that every Skirmish will not be the same!
