Sledgehammer70 has been kind enough to post some information regarding the upcoming DLC and patches. Surprisingly the PS3 isn’t getting a patch so it is unknown whether the 360’s patch is just fixing the split screen glitch or if the PS3 players are being left high and dry. Similarly, the PC player wont get the second DLC pack.
I should also note this is a DLC and will only be adding content to the game and will not be a patch. The current PC & Xbox 360 patch should be live shortly.
I have also taken many of your comments & questions and developed a Q&A that should be live this Friday here on the Pandemic forums. The questions spurred directly from the Conquest General Discussion forums and range widely on DLC content to physical aspects of the game.
I am very much looking forward to providing you guys with the full details of the upcoming DLC and know it will be a great addition for Xbox Live & PSN.
Patch = 360 and PC
DLC = PS3 and 360
The difference between DLC and a patch you ask? A patch generally fixes bugs and other issues within the game, DLC is extra content you can download if you wish, sometimes costing money.
Stay tuned for more information.

I'm glad they're finally fixing the splitscreen glitch. I can't believe something that obvious got away. Did they never try 3 or 4 person splitscreen before shipping the game? Anyway, do you know when the DLC will come and how much it will cost? (if it isn't free) I hope the DLC is free. And if it isn't, it had better not be outrageously expensive! (more than 500 points for me)

We will know more soon hopefully ...
LOTR PO:
why won't they patch the ps3? it's many things that should be fixed in the multiplayer.
Freek:
These patches are for critical bugs only (splitscreen on the 360 and EA nation on the PC). The PS3 did not have any of these issues, hence its not getting a patch. There will be no multiplayer rebalancing or gameplay changes in these patches.

Is EVERYONE having the issue? It is probably related to certain types of screens/resolutions, hence why it is fixed by turning on the 'widescreen' settings. The only downside for the 360 is that it has so many different options (lots of resolutions and model variations) which can make it harder to track down issues. (Bit of a double-edged sword there)
zach:
There isnt any difference between the different models. The difference lies in the hd//memory card and other accessories. Pandemic is apparently just too lazy to fully test the game. There are only like 8 different resolutions... It wouldnt take that long to simply test each of them and find such a huge glitch.
Freek:
Thats the difference I meant, because you can't by default, have a game that installs only on the HDD not to mention working with savegames...
And it has more then 8 resolutions, cause it probably also an interlaced option for most of them. Eg. the PS3 has 5: 576i, 576p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p
But yea, it is lazy testing, because it doesn't seem like a bug that would be easy to find during Q&A.
<Faramir>:
Nice to see that the PC finally gets something !!!
Even when it is just a patch...
Still to bad that they won't give us a DLC.
When they keep letting us out i don't think the PC-users will keep having fun in the game.

Also what do people that use PC monitors do or does the PS3 not have a VGA cable? A PC monitor has been my only HD source and the normal TV ratios dont look very good on most PC monitors.
Also it is probably because they are too lazy to test with full screen considering it works fine with widescreen. I am just now getting into C++ and I know how easy it would be to make a mistake on a code the size needed to output all the crap to the screen. Thats why you test the code or have someone else do so. Pandemic totally slacked there. I doubt they tested it at ALL on a mobile GPU....
