dang, why only 360 so far :(
zach:
Well it could be out on the PS3/PC the 360 just has the easiest way to check online.
Check here for PS3: http://www.us.playstation.com/PSN/Store#{%22__s%22%3A{%22id%22%3A%22gameaddons%22}}
I dont know how often they update it. It COULD be on the console but not the website. I just know the xbox one is automatic.
Freek:
PSN updates are weekly on Thursday nights I believe. Due to their global sh*t policy it could take a while for people outside the US to get it (unless you've made a US store account like most people ;))
Argetlam:
Anyone know if its on pc yet?
krapyl:
No ps3 downloads yet :o >: (
Cheeky Hobbit:
Has anyone played this mode yet? I haven't had the chance.
zach:
My 360 copy is hopefully in the mail by now from Battle for the Ring. I MAY get my PC copy in the mail this week (hopefully).
BattleSage:
It's rubbish DLC anyway, and with the news of the removal of both Strongholds and Ringbearer from the DLC list, I'm definitely moving to the point of view that, on top of being a 'rushed' game, they aren't going to do anything to fix it.
LOTR Cannon aside, I just wanted a fun LotR game. Where is the game we were initially promised, and then promised to be completed thorugh DLC?
I don't know where they went down a different road to us, but it isn't the vision they gave us last year.
It's not the LotR game we thought, and it doesn't look like it will become it.
kylej13:
I'm downloading it right now!!
I'll post later to tell you about it.

Well he is giving it a chance. :P
krapyl:
Well it's still not realesed on Play Station Store :/
zach:
That sucks, I am sure it will be out soon.
FaceCake:
well it serves all you ps3'ers right for getting the demo first. But i thought it was cool. 2v2 is real fun when you have wizard battles!!!!!!1
zach:
Sounds cool. Is it a LOT different from hero death match other than smaller maps and teams?
kylej13:
I downloaded it, but I didn't really get to play it. All that's in the DLC is this new arena type hero deathmatch. There is Osgiliath and Moria. Both are taken from the full levels. The Osgiliath one is where you fight Faramir in the evil campaign and the Moria one is in the big room with pillars and a dwarf statue. You can choose from Good or Evil, but it's basically like red and blue team since good and evil heroes are on both sides. I was a little disappointed at the choice of heroes, I was expecting almost all of them in a round. I tried this mode on single player instant action, and all it was was me sitting in this area by myself. This mode doesn't have AI and is made exclusively for multiplayer (as in splitscreen and private matches on Xbox Live). I didn't see this mode anywhere on the online servers. I think it could be fun, but I just haven't had the opportunity to play it multiplayer yet.
Freek:
I think you have to play this on private games/friends games as it only supports 1v1 or 2v2.
Also, on modes like Strongholds etc. being in the DLC, this is all just the fans taking wishes for facts. Nobody from Pandemic or EA has EVER said these modes would be released in Downloadable Content, just as Strongholds was never actually confirmed as a game mode except in some passages in earlier reviews.
