Pandemic has patched her official servers for both the demo and full retail version of the Lord of the Rings: Conquest last night. This is a server-side patch ONLY, and improves the stability of the servers which should help people who were being dropped off.

Here’s the official word:

We are planning to apply a minor patch late tonight to the Lord of the Rings: Conquest game servers (demo and retail).  It will take place tonight around midnight PST, and will affect connectivity for all users while the maintenance is occurring. This minor patch will improve online game stability and will help with the issue of players getting dropped from games.

This is the first of a wave of updates for Conquest so sit tight and continue providing feedback of any issues you may be having in or new forum section.

A patch to fix PC connectivity issues is also underway, since people have been complaining about not being able to register or even log-in to EA Nation. With some DLC (Downloadable Content) also coming up, it seems that post-launch support is rolling full steam!
