I'm really glad that Amon Hen is being released. If it is only a multiplayer map, however, I will probably be disappointed. I'll be interested in seeing what other DLC will be released - Boromir is a certainty.

They wont. It would require a total re-work of their network system and I doubt either the PS3 nor the 360 could handle it.

Because they're not free and the money I'd be paying for it would only be for usage of PSN which I dont use very often either way. I have my bankcard to pay any products physically and paypal and iDeal (local e-payment system) to pay everything via the web.

So yea, Im not getting a creditcard for incidental PSN payments.

Its like a credit card but all the money comes from your bank account so you can only spend whats in there. There is no interest or none of that. Its pretty much just a check that is easier to use and you can use it easily online and for getting products locally.

Its different, you can only use it in stores. You cant use it to pay online or whatever. We do have iDeal which is basically integrated with the online banking service, which works just as well.

Yeah I use a debit card. I actually like Xbox way better idk why i bought it for PSX3. But I am thinking ok a while ago when I played Marvel Ultimate Alliance, they released a DLC that included 8 new characters as well as new achievements. But it was only for 360. PSX3 never got the dlc. So I am wondering if Pandemic plans to release it for all systems or what.

Probably PS3 and 36o. I doubt PC will get it though. I have noticed that some multi-platform games release more stuff for 360.

If they include Boromir this would be a good time to introduce a new class e.g. the Guardian since Boromir use's a shield.

There's no way they're going to release it for free if they can get money. But on the other hand they might release something for free to get people more interested in DLC

Dont expect TOO much and don't expect it to be free. It will most likely expand the game in terms of more maps or heroes, but structural changes that would add classes or add more players/AI is something for expansion packs.

Also this generation consoles are much easier to make expansion packs for. In the past they had to pretty much release a who new version of the game. I believe some xbox games had DLC such as halo 2 but for the most part they just made a whole new game. Very little DLC is free, I know Halo 3 has 2 map packs for Free but Bungie can do that simply because there are so many players who buy the DLC. On Conquest's first week it didnt even make it in the top 10 most played LIVE games(arcade games not counted).

Sorry for all the halo references but its pretty much my main online game.

To allow more AI in they would most likely have to make huge revisions to their networking system. Both the PS3 and 360 are fairly limited on RAM though so keep that in mind too.

Glad that they finally announced this. Boromir could also fit in as a warrior though, they don't really need his shield. When he dies, he isn't using it, he's holding his sword with two hands. But im all for a guardian class, but its probably going to have to be an expansion. I just hope they add in boromir. He's the last hero that i really want to be in it. But strategically, the DLC should be free. The already small enough population of people playing don't deserve to be hit like that. And it would attract new people, especially because its free.

One of my friends told me that Pandemic said they were rushed by ea, and the Ringbearer mode, Stronghold modes were taken out because they had minor glitches that effected gameplay. He said that this would be patched in for free. Im not sure that his sources are correct, but im only the messanger.

I could imagine this happening. I know that Dice added in Conquest mode for Bad Company 1 month after release. I'm sure Pandemic is working hard to put some extra goodies together to fix some of the problems up and add some stuff to please our patience. I never thought of Paths of the Dead as a map before, but that sounds really cool. I hope they take advantage of the dozens of map opportunities that Middle Earth has.

Someone on Pandemic's site said that they talked to a Dev. and he said it would be Amon Hen, the training map, Boromir, Gothmog, and Arwen. If Arwen is added, I bet Fords of Bruinin will be also. This also tells me that they might put Gothmog at Osgiliath, and hopefully move Faramir there as well.

They have stated it multiple times. They only plan on releasing 2 DLC. One of which is already released.

I really hope they make more maps than just amon hen and the training level. sure amon hen and the training level is cool but it is to little with just the two maps.
Its nice that boromir, gothmog and arwen are going to be realsed but I hope they could ad Eomer and Theoden and Haldir too.

i tried the demo of it on the xbox360 i liked it a lot very creative i can tell they really took some time on designing the game i will probaby be buying it soon
