Independent Online Cinema, the people behind the upcoming lord of the rings fan movie  entitled The Hunt for Gollum, have released a trailer. The Hunt for Gollum is a non-profit movie, that will be viewable online only in 2009.  The story line from the movie is taken from the appendices of the Lord of the Rings.

The script is adapted from elements of the appendices of The Lord of the Rings. The story follows the Heir of Isildur; the “greatest huntsman and traveller in Middle Earth” as he sets out to find the creature Gollum. The creature must be found to discover the truth about the Ring, and to protect the future Ringbearer.

It looks like it will be pretty cool.

It looks pretty decent well besides that shot they did putting in the mountains as the background that looked kinda shoddy. However this looks better than that other fan film that was posted in the forums. My only problem is with the locations they look too much like earth.

That actually looks like something you would expect to see in the theaters, which says a lot for the quality and time they must've put in. I'll be looking forward to this.
