I see a lot of you are disappointed because you cannot get the conquest demo which seems to be exclusive to the US Playstation store at the moment. I know a few have tried to register US accounts and have got stuck at the address screen, because it will not accept the address you enter.

In this guide I will show you how to get your USA account and be able to download LOTR: Conquest then use it with your normal account.

First off go to Sign Up then follow the standard procedure of filling out your details and verifying your email address. NOTE – You CANNOT  use the same address twice, so make a new email address at your favourite service, hotmail, yahoo, Google or another one.

Once you have verified your email address you will need to make a new username. I suggest keeping it similar to your normal Playstation username .eg. My normal one is Tyrnat, for this account I would use something like Tyrnatt or Tyrnat1 etc.

Now to the part which everyone is stuck on, the address. Using a address like

123 Fake Street
Faketon
New York
Washington
01234

Will NOT work.

All that is needed is a tiny bit of research and you will be on your way. Luckily for you I’ve the vast majority of this already.

I used this address

56 Figuera Street
Wilmington
Los Angeles
California
90012

And it worked fine. You can try using the same address but change the 56 to a different number and change the zip code (90012) to something like 90001, 90015, 90058. If this does not work we will try a different city, this city shall be Orlando.

In address line 1(Number & Street name) put the following:
A number of your choice Street name (Find street names here) = EXAMPLE: 21 Church Avenue

In address line 2 (Suburb) put the one following:
Daytona Beach, Lakeland, Kissimmee, Melbourne, Leesburg

SKIP ADDRESS LINE 3

In the address line 4(City/Town) put the following:
Orlando

In the address line 5 (State) put the following:
Florida

In the address line 6 (Zip Code) put the following:
http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/zcl_1_results.jsp – Choose a Zip code from the list

If you have done it correctly it should come out like this

21 Church Avenue

Once you have been signed up to the playstation network with your USA account, hope onto your PS3 and turn it on. Go to users in the XMB and select Create New User, I called my user USA. Once this user have been created, log into it and go make sure your internet is plugged in the playstation.

Navigate to Playstation Network and click Sign up, then select use existing account and use the details which you used to sign up previously. Once you are signed in, go to the playstation store and select the demos, currently Conquest is under newest demos, if it is not there go to A-Z and locate it.

Begin the download of the demo. It is 1313 MB (1.3 GB) so you may or may not be waiting around for a while. You can run the download in the back round and carry on other activities on the Playstation.

 WARNING:  MAKE SURE YOUR PLAYSTATION DOES NOT HAVE AUTO TURN OFF TURNED ON.
To turn auto turn off, off. Go to Settings > Power Save Settings > System Auto Off and select off.

Once the download has completed navigate to Users and log into your normal account. Go along to Game in the XMB and scroll to the bottom, it should have The Lord of the Rings: Conquest Installation. Run it. Wait for it to install, it takes around 3-4 minutes.

Once completed, go to Game and Select The Lord of the Rings: Conquest Demo and play !

Note that game demos from the US store will work fine on your other (European or other country) accounts as well. You only need to download and install it once, it will be installed & available on all your user accounts.

I might just be stupid but at the very start you say u have to go to Sign-Up. i cannon find anywhere to Sign-Up on my PS3 and i am just completely stuck atm..

Well you have to create an whole new USER on your PS3. I have an USA user and an main user i use all the time ^^,
