G4 X-play video is up!

Missed the G4TV Conquest feature we reported about yesterday? Don’t worry, we have it right here, right now. The video is yet another interview with Eric “Giz” Gewirtz, sadly not revealing any new features or aspects of the game. However, it is a fairly interesting watch as Gewirtz tells us about some of the choices Pandemic made developing the game. You can watch the interview below.

One observe :at 1:58,9 it shows elves in the back with golden armor.

Freek thank you for uploading the video a lot !!!

Cheeky Hobbit:

Why does Gandalf has his sword on his back? I guess I can deal with it.

But the fact he seems to play out exactly like a regular Mage is very worrying indeed.

zach:

Ehh... no new info. I guess it may spread the word and bring new people in.

Freek:

I sure hope they're holding a whole load of it back for something great :)

Yes, right now it is very generic and mindless. He said somewhere in there about the game having depth. I laugh at that. This game has sooo much potential that Pandemic isnt even touching. I mean if you are gunna have a class system at least have a good one. Mage/Warrior/Archer/Scoute(rouge) are at VERY generic classes and they arnt bring too much to the table. So much more could be done. Better yet would be allow users to pick an armor set and weapons. For example I want medium armor, bow, and short sword. I could stand a fight pretty good vs a warrior if I got a couple good shots off with my bow. Or I could go light armor, bow and short sword. I could possibly have a camo option(such as rangers) to help blend in with my surroundings but not go completely invisible like the current scout.

witchkingshour:

Could heroes possibly be clones of the classes now? I mean Gandalf basically looked like a mage. I mean yea he has magic, but i hope their not clones. That would be very lazy work by Pandemic.

Lotrbiggestfan:

Ahh i am excited lol

Actually in one of the interviews I think Eric G. stated that (in my words as I dont exactly remember his) pretty much souped up classes. Aragon is a very good warrior, Legolas a very good archer. Although they play a lot like the classes they each do have unique special attacks.
