As you may have noticed, we’ve upgraded our forums, and this includes the return of the Clan Hosting feature! However, the system is radically different from the last one. New features include a clan page with a roster, gallery and the ability for members to easily join your clan. Clan forums can be automatically added by clan leaders once their clan has at least five members.

However, we have also added additional features, taking a glance at any post or thread will make you notice a new “Thanks” option, which allows you to thank other users for helpful or good post they’ve made. Users can also add “search tags” to threads, clickable tags on the bottom of each thread, that will allow you to turn up similar threads quickly. When posting a thread, you can also add a “thread prefix” which helps identify you thread quickly.

The user profile has also had an overhaul. From your User CP, you can add Pictures and Albums to your profile, make a friends list, manage your clans and many many more features. The front-end of user profiles has been adjusted accordingly, displaying user galleries, contacts and friends, their clans and other information. You can leave “visitor messages” in others’ profiles as well!

The best way to experience all this functionality is via our new “quick links” menu on the top of any forum page. This menu gives you easy access to some of the most-used areas of the forums, including signature preferences and albums.
